Lehigh Acres Fire Dept -- The Good / Bad and the Ugly

The Lehigh Acres Fire District, a special taxing district, was created by a special act of the Florida Legislation in 1963. Its charter may be amended only by special act of the legislature. The governing authority of the District is a board composed of five members elected from residents of the District. During the past 4 decades we have been a part of the many advances in fire and life safety in our region.

Mind your own business ..........

Re: "Vote for Haas," Kathy Burgess, Sept. 14. Thank you for your input on Mr. Haas, but we in Lehigh are all grown up people that don't need any help from outsiders.

Are all your Cape problems solved? Water, sewer and God knows what else? So please let us do our business. Puppets abound; you know, the one with the long nose that is always in someone else's business. Please let me know if you ever move to Lehigh, so I can draw my blinds.
